At the start of stream, it is always exciting to interact with my audience. Allowing them to have a say keeps them more engaged and excited to watch. They can also come up with ridiculous ideas that may or may not be deadly. In my case, they want me to dig straight done.
My plot hole
After our discussion I decided that I was willing to take my chances and break the cardinal rule in Minecraft. I was going to dig straight down. Thanks, chat! I only took a couple of items with me, that way if I die, oh well. I’m only on stone tools anyway. Turns out, my luck is either terrible or very good. I didn’t hit any lava pools, no giant caves to fall to my death, and no loot. I got literally nothing, though I did skim past two copper blocks. In the end I just pillared back up and that was the end of that.
Even more farms
After this diverting distraction, it was time to get to work again. With making even more wheat fields to collect straw even faster! Also, throughout the stream I was able to completely fill out my rice field and surround it in cobble stone instead of dirt.
Finished my first roof
After expanding the farms and collecting enough straw, I was finally able to finish my first roof. YAY! It looks pretty good, though I might want to go back later and change the layout in what blocks I use. I’m not decided on that yet. It looks great though, and I am excited with how my house is coming along.

Exploring further around my home
With the first roof finished, I had an itch to go exploring and see what flowers I could get in the wilds. I have enough poppies and daisies around my house, so I would love new flowers to be able to decorate around the place. During my exploration I managed to find wild onions and wild carrots too! This is super exciting as I can expand my recipes for food with these new ingredients!

Finding more cool new blocks
Once back home from my explorations, I started looking through the crafting bench to see what odds and ends I could make. This was when I made my discoveries on a bunch of new blocks! I found canvas rugs, Japanese tatami mats, flowerpots, tables, chairs and benches. It was so much fun adding these to my build, they really helped bring life to my house. Alas, it was then time to call it a night. Don’t forget to check out the full stream on my videos page!
